In the early morning, you will drive southwest of the park through Masindi to reach the park in the afternoon. On the road, after a drive of 3 hours, we will stop to enjoy a late breakfast or early lunch.
The journey will offer you splendid sceneries that are picturesque. Before checking in at your hotel, you will be driven to the top of the falls where the Nile River perfects its beauty; see the calm Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 43 meters down producing a thunderous roar of white water. After you will transfer to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Nile Safari Lodge /Pakuba Lodge / Sambiya River lodge /Budongo Eco Lodge.

Set out after some tea or coffee and embark on an exciting 3–4-hours early morning game drive to explore the savannah on the Northern bank of the Nile. Expect to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, spotted hyenas, and leopards. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and relax as we wait for lunch.
Return In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile that takes you to the bottom of the falls. The ride will reward you with game like crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and plenty of birds like the Kingfishers. Dinner and overnight at Nile Safari Lodge /Pakuba Lodge / Sambiya River lodge /Budongo Eco Lodge.
Option 1: You will have an early breakfast then head to Kampala, along the way, you will visit the Ziwa rhino sanctuary which was set up to reintroduce rhinoceros to Uganda following extinction in 1982. This 70 square kilometer sanctuary in an immaculate bush country is currently home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The long-term goal is to build a sustainable rhino population and move rhinos back to their original habitat more so in Uganda’s protected areas. After having lunch, embark back to Kampala, reaching by late afternoon
Option 2: For this option, we advise you to stay in accommodation located in the Budongo Forest: Sambiya River lodge or Budongo Eco Lodge. After an early tea or coffee, you will go for a chimpanzee tracking. The Budongo Forest is one of the most varied forest faunas in East Africa and is a premier site for birdwatchers, as well as one of the best places to track chimpanzees in this part of Africa. Don’t be surprised to meet red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus… and more than 250 butterfly species. Return to the lodge for late breakfast or lunch and let’s go to Kampala reaching by late evening.
